The Media Production facilities comprise of:

2 video production studios, with lighting grid, fresnel studio lights, lighting mixer, black, white, green-screen chromakey curtains, high resolution video projector, electric video projection screen, AV playback equipment, and surround-sound audio.

7 Apple Mac Pro video editing suites with DV/HDV capture decks, monitor speakers, external broadcast monitor, 2 TFT displays. A selection of software used is Apple Final Cut Studio, Adobe Master Collection, Digidesign ProTools.

Sound Room that comprises a control room and sound-proofed audio booth for voiceover/foley/music recording, plus a range of audio mixers and audio software. A selection of software used is Apple Logic Studio/Digidesign ProTools.

Computer suite of 25 Apple Mac Pro computers for editing/post-production classes, with high resolution video projector and screen.

Broadcast media server for all computer systems, allowing access to projects on all computers in the facilities.

Equipment store that contains a wide range of portable digital video cameras (DV/HDV/XDCAM EX formats), audio and lighting equipment. A selection of some of the manufacturers used are Arri, Ianiro, JVC, Sony, Canon, Sachtler, Vinten, Manfrotto, Sennheiser, Beyer, Rode, Rycote, SE Electronics, and AKG.
