Once you have arrived into the UK you may need to register with the police.

If you are required to register with the police it will say so on your ID card and is also likely if you are from any of the countries listed below:

You MUST register with the police within 7 DAYS OF ARRIVAL into the UK.

To register you will need to attend the police station shown below:

Registration is held at the following times:

Monday: 8:30am - 12:00pm & 13:00pm - 16:00

Tuesday: 8:30am - 12:00pm & 13:00pm - 16:00

Wednesday: 8:30am - 12:00pm

Thursday: 8:30am - 12:00pm & 13:00pm - 16:00

Friday: 8:30am - 12:00pm & 13:00pm - 16:00

To register you will need:

  • Your University of Bolton visa letter (CAS).
  • Passport.
  • Two passport-sized pictures.
  • Registration fee of £34 (cash only).

If you are a sponsored student you also need:

  • Your financial guarantee.

OR

  • Sponsorship letter.
