Student Ambassadors play a vital role in promoting the university and in welcoming new students to the university community. The roles are varied and include:
Open Days
Student Ambassadors help show prospective students around Campus, the Halls of Residence, the Students' Union and Bolton.
School and College Liaison
Ambassadors also visit schools and colleges to talk to young people about their experiences and to encourage them to apply to university.
Why should you get involved?
It’s highly rewarding; all team members say that helping prospective students and encouraging young people to aspire to university is very satisfying. Student Ambassadors apply for the positions, which are paid. Employers report that the skills developed in working with diverse groups are highly desirable, and help set graduates with this sort of experience apart from other applicants.
