FAQs

Our priority is to ensure you enjoy your time at university, you are supported and leave ready to thrive in your chosen career.

From our continued multi-million-pound campus investments to our focus on employability skills and opportunities, there are numerous reasons why Bolton ranked in the top 5 for Student Satisfaction in the North West of England (Complete University Guide 2023). Let us give you an overview:

  • Passionate lecturers who are focused on providing a positive, productive and supportive student experience
  • We strive to give our postgraduate students the quality education they deserve. That’s why we’ve invested millions into state-of-the-art facilities such as the new Greater Manchester Business School and Bolton College of Medical Sciences development.
  • Many of our postgraduate courses are professionally accredited by official bodies such as IMechE, the British Psychological Society, or Chartered Management Institute.
  • We have great connections with many employers, both locally and nationally, including the NHS, Ministry of Defence and Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council
  • To ensure you have the perfect learning experience, we prefer to offer teaching in relatively small classes to maintain the best teaching quality, this helps to maximise the time you get to spend with your tutors to ensure you get the most out of your time here
  • Finally, it’s a great place to be, with a wealth of amenities in Bolton for you to take advantage of, and the UK’s second city, Manchester, just 20 minutes away by train
At Bolton, you are known by your name, not your student number; welcome to #UniAsItShouldBe.
