An audience with Arts and Health
Monday 18 June 2012
The University, in collaboration with Bolton Council, Bolton at Home and Bolton Primary Care Trust, is holding a special event to open up the discussion on arts, health and wellbeing.
Suitable for anyone working within the health sector, the event also promises to be a great opportunity for students studying either an arts or health related degree to hear from leading figures in each discipline.
The key theme for the discussion will be ‘Does art have a role to play in health?’
Representatives from across the arts and health sector will present thoughts, opinions and case-studies from initiatives taking place across the North West and beyond.
Speakers confirmed for the event are:
-
Rob Vale (LIME – award winning arts charity)
-
Shane Embleton (Bradford Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust)
-
Paula O'Malley (Aintree University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust).
The event will be held within Bolton One on Tuesday 19 June and will run from 9:15am to 1:00pm.
The day will include a tour of the brand new facilities within Bolton One and also provide guests with an opportunity to network over lunch.
Places are free but must be booked prior to the event due to popularity.
