Visited Saturday 23 March Open Day
We have a number of Open Days throughout the year, which enable you to come and visit the University of Bolton so that you can make an informed decision when applying to university.
Attending a university Open Day is an ideal way to prepare for university life. You can find out more about courses and campus facilities including the Library, the Sports Centre, the Halls of Residence and the Students' Union. It will also give you a chance to get to know the town if you are not familiar with Bolton.
The day begins at 9.00am with the first Halls of Residence tour followed by a programme of talks starting at 9.30am. You can download a provisional programme| of the day by clicking on the Open Day Programme button on the right. This will help you to plan your visit. Please note that the Halls presentation will be delivered at the Orlando halls of residence and trips to the Hollins halls have been arranged to enable you to view the rooms and the location of the halls. If you wish to visit the Hollins halls outside of the scheduled trips please feel free to make your own way there.
Directions to the University and our Campus Map are available in our Visitors Guide|. The Visitors Guide can be downloaded by clicking on the How to find us button on the right.
If you are travelling by car to the Deane Campus please park in car parks labeled 'PS' or in the car park next to the building labled 'A' as identified in the Visitors Guide.
On your arrival we would be grateful if you could register your name at the reception point situated in Chancellor's Mall, also identified on our Campus Map as building 'S'.
