Faye has a degree in Textiles and Surface Design, and an MA in Fashion and Textile Practices. Since 2012, she has taught art, textiles and fashion in further and higher education institutions.
Faye sold and exhibited her work at venues such as the Great Northern Contemporary Craft Fair, the Liverpool Design Show, The Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Exchange Theatre in Manchester, the British Craft Trade Fair and Ambiente TALENTS in Frankfurt.
Faye also undertook several private and public commissions including a project with the Millennium Galleries in Sheffield.
A love of pattern and the process of creating pattern through drawing, printmaking and stitch is at the heart of Faye.
