The University of Bolton prides itself on providing our students with the services specifically designed for you to succeed.

Student Services

At the University of Bolton we are a community and each of our students is a priority, whether they are full or part-time. We can assure you that our staff will always try to be on hand when you need them, this includes an evening adviser until 9pm. Student Services is based in the Student Centre and has everything you need to ensure your part-time experience at the University will be a positive one.

Student Services can offer advice on everything from careers to counselling. They can advise you on student finance, talk through accommodation options, or refer you to a specialist staff member if you have a particular issue that can't be dealt with by them.

Campus

The multi-million pound, town centre campus has recently been completed and offers a wide range of facilities for both learning and social events. As a part-time student you will have access to all the facilities on campus, including the £31 million Bolton One health and leisure centre which will be completed in 2012. The University also provides free parking for its students, which you will have access to throughout the day, including the evenings and weekends.

The University's library is open six days a week and is at heart of campus life. Situated next to the Social Learning Zone, it is home to 170,000 books, not to mention 11,500 print and electronic journals. There is a range of self-service facilities and PCs with web access on-site. But you can also access the library catalogue, renew items, check availability and make reservations from the comfort of your home, via the internet.
