Danielle Ellis

Senior Lecturer - Nursing

Danielle took a lecturing post with the University in 2019, after many years of delivering education to both children and adult learners. She started with the University of Bolton as a lecturer, then took the post of Programme Lead for the BSc Adult Nursing programme at our satellite site in Bradford. She is passionate about providing equitable educational experiences to meet the huge diversity of learner needs, and to nurture the next generation of nurses.

She is a registered Adult Nurse with an Acute Medical Unit background. She has a strong interest in mental health within the general health setting, in particular, personality disorder. This interest and drive to provide equitable care provision in the general health environment inspired her to research further into personality disorder at Master’s level.
