Jimmy Mullin

Lecturer - Games Programming

Graduating from the University of Bolton with first-class honours in 2014, after studying Games Design, I quickly established myself as a games developer in the games industry. At the start of my career, I worked briefly as a Quality Assurance Tester for Traveller's Tales. Not long after securing this position, I was seconded to a Junior Design position within the same company, which was quickly made a permanent appointment. Fast-forward 2 1/2 years to 2017, I was promoted to Designer and was then responsible for some of the primary features which are currently seen in the LEGO games today. During my time working for Traveller's Tales, I worked on nine major releases, which total over 100 million sales worldwide. In March 2018, I decided to pursue my passion for teaching, and I came back to my roots and started my lecturing career at the University of Bolton. As well as teaching, I also continue to follow my passion for developing games and have recently started to develop them independently.
