In fact, the demand for accountants is growing at such a rate research indicates that by 2050 the UK alone will require around 80,000 additional accountants.

What qualifications do I need to become an accountant?
At the University of Bolton, any subjects are acceptable at Level 3. You should also have five GCSEs at grade C or above or grade 4 to 9 (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.
If you hold the AAT Technician qualification you will be exempted from five modules at level HE4. You will be offered direct entry into level HE5 and be required to study an additional HE4 module. You may also be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work. Find out more
