What should I bring with me?
You will need to have the following documents in your hand luggage (we will require this for enrolment):
- Passport
- Offer letter
- Copy of your CAS
- Tb certificate (if required)
- Evidence of finances supplied with your visa application
- Original certificates/transcripts for qualifications listed on your CAS
You also make sure you have enough money to support yourself for the first few weeks or if you have a debit/credit card you can use in the UK for the first few days. Please remember there is a limit of how much cash you can bring to the UK and ensure you have a range of denominations – you may have difficulties using £50 notes in a shop so it is a good idea to have some £10 and £20 notes as well.

It is a good idea to have a warm jumper or Hoodie or a coat and an umbrella when you arrive in Manchester. The weather can be unpredictable and whilst March to October the temperatures may be warm there is still a chance of rain!

Orlando Village is the only accommodation approved and recommended by the University of Bolton

Opening a bank account
You will need to show photo ID, ideally, your passport, your BRP and proof of address, which can be any utility bill or most of the banks will also accept a letter from the university’s student services section.
