Bollywood Night

Thursday 3 November 2022 - 7.00pm

Event Date : 03/11/2022

The Albert Halls Victoria Square, Bolton, Greater Manchester, BL1 1RU

The names ‘Hollywood’ and ‘blockbuster pictures’ are synonymous with red carpets, glitter and stardom. The iconic sign over the hills of Los Angeles – the city of angels draws people intent on establishing fame.

Bollywood is India’s answer to Hollywood. It has the same glam, glitz and showbiz and is one of the world’s largest film industries with a current value between £2.5 and £4 billion. Most Bollywood films are a celebration of the lively song and dance sequences, and romantic melodramas and as such it makes each production so captivating. It’s one of the most beautiful aspects of desi culture.

Thursday 3rd November 2022 will mark a night of spellbinding Bollywood entertainment at the Albert Halls in the heart of Bolton, one of the UK’s most friendly towns.

A town that is woven by its strength in social inclusivity that we are proud to embrace at the University of Bolton.
