His groundbreaking contributions to AI, IoT, big data, and medical applications have positioned him as a leader in interdisciplinary research aimed at addressing global challenges.

As the Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Head of the Centre of Intelligence of Things (CIoTh) at the University, Professor Iwendi spearheads innovative research and educational programs that merge cutting-edge technology with practical solutions. Holding a PhD in Electronics Engineering, he possesses technical expertise in wireless sensor networks, machine learning (ML), and IoT.
