Located in the heart of Manchester City Centre, and with close access to the city’s student hub and Piccadilly train station, Spirit Studios (formerly the School of Sound Recording) is ideally placed to attract a diversity of students and staff and boastsexcellent accessibility to many local performance venues. The University of Bolton’s partnership with Spirit Studios began in 2006 and, since then, both have enjoyed a friendly and fruitful relationship.

With high quality facilities, such as 10 unique studios, an on-site live venue, DJ booths, editing suites and more, students can enjoy contributing to Manchester’s booming music scene whilst simultaneously becoming prepared for a successful future within the industry. For Spirit Studios, students are at the heart of everything they do and it is common for students to be involved in high profile events for clients that include Manchester United Football Club and the BBC.
