I am a qualified teacher, youth worker, apprenticeship assessor and have a Masters in International Development Management. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I am a trained Mindfulness Consultant and have taught mindfulness in the public, private and voluntary sectors. My work experience has also been involved in working in crisis intervention teams, teaching and social care. I am currently completing a PhD on the role of equanimity in mindfulness and its link to cultivating compassion.
