Student Transition: Research, Innovation, Values and Enhancement

Aims:
(a) To enhance supported transition for students in all areas of their educational journey including to further study and employment both within and across institutions
(b) To foster inter-institutional team working across the the group and/or partnership network.
(c) To promote an evidence-based approach to improving academic and/or service achievement and create opportunities for group and partnership staff and students to engage in research and development projects.

Guidance for projects:

• To promote research & development across the UoB group & partnership network
• Bids must involve UoB member plus 1 or more from other parts of the UoB group or partnership network
• Aim is to boost collaboration, processes and student experience

Getting Connected with Colleagues across the University, the Group and Partnership Network

- If you are a UoB staff member, (or staff member from one of the College/University Group) and have an idea for a project that would benefit from the involvement of one or more of our wider partner institutions, please contact Julian Coleman (JLC1@bolton.ac.uk) with a few lines on the project. Please also say whether you have a specific partner in mind (and do feel free to discuss ideas with existing partner contacts) or that you are more open to suggestions as to partners that could contribute and benefit. In Off Campus, we will put you into contact with colleagues at our partners to work up the proposal.

- If you are a staff member at one of our collaborative partners and have either a specific idea for a project, or a more general interest to be involved in the sort of projects that were discussed at the briefing, please let your Partnership Manager know. If you would copy me in (JLC1@bolton.ac.uk) we will ensure you are put into contact with appropriate colleagues at the University to get involved.
