Judith Firth

Associate Lecturer

Before obtaining a BSc (Hons) in Sport Rehabilitation from the University of Bolton in June 2016, Judith spent 13 years within the Bolton NHS Community Trust, starting as a Physiotherapy Assistant and progressing to an Assistant Practitioner. During this time, she earned an NVQ Level 3 in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Support and completed a Foundation Degree (FDA) in Health and Social Care.

After graduating with a first-class honours degree in Sports Rehabilitation, she founded a successful private Musculoskeletal business that continues to thrive. Additionally, she provided clinical support and worked as a Sports Rehabilitator at the BWFC academy. She also achieved certification as an APPI Pilates instructor and is a qualified acupuncturist.

In 2022, she took on the role of Associate Lecturer at the University of Bolton's School of Clinical and Biomedical Science. She contributes to the Physician Associate musculoskeletal teaching and is dedicated to sharing her knowledge and passion for MSK with the students.

In this role, she also serves as a Personal Tutor, ensuring that students receive the support they need during their studies at the University of Bolton.
Since joining the University, she has completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCert) and attained the status of Fellow (FHEA).
