MSc Social Care, Health and Wellbeing; MA Community Development and Youth Studies; MA Early Childhood Studies.


Kevin leads the Master’s degree pathways in MSc Social Care, Health and Wellbeing; MA Community Development and Youth Studies; MA Early Childhood Studies.

He teaches across a range of specialist and core modules on post graduate programmes and also at undergraduate level on Community Development and Youth Work/Studies modules.

Kevin’s research interests include social justice, power and politics, community development, urban renewal, housing, leadership and management in cities, and co-operative working. His PhD focussed on urban renewal and the socio-economic impact upon communities in Greater Manchester.

Other roles and responsibilities held at the University include undergraduate and postgraduate supervision, member of the University Partnership Panel and Partner Link Tutor. Kevin is an external examiner and is also involved in the School of Health and Wellbeing research group. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and holds post graduate qualifications in teaching and research.
