Alnablosi Ahmed is a dedicated Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bolton, bringing over eight years of academic and industrial experience across international settings. Over the past three years at Bolton, he has delivered both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, incorporating hands-on, applied learning methods.
Following his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Teesside University, Ahmed is currently engaged in intensive PhD research on the mechanical and thermal properties of composite materials, which informs his teaching in advanced materials and design engineering.
His expertise spans design, materials, CAD, CFD, FEA, and manufacturing, with a professional specialism in mechanics of materials and Mathematics. Drawing on his background in multinational engineering environments, Ahmed integrates real-world applications into his teaching, employing industry-standard tools such as ANSYS, NX Siemens, and SolidWorks to equip students with contemporary engineering skills.
Committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment, he provides mentorship that encourages students’ academic and research excellence. Ahmed also contributes to research, curriculum development, and STEM outreach, inspiring future engineers and advancing the field of mechanical engineering.
