Angela Ling

Lecturer – Clinical Skills

Angela qualified in 2003 as a Registered Children’s Nurse and has worked clinically for 16 years across a variety of clinical settings. The main part of Angela’s career was as a Junior Sister in an Accident and Emergency Department. Prior to nursing Angela gained a BSc (Hons) in Health and Community Studies from the University of Chester which inspired her to pursue a career in the health service.

In 2019 Angela became a pre-registration clinical educator providing pastoral support for student nurses in practice, supporting practice assessor and supervisors to ensure an effective learning environment is provided and the NMC proficiencies are effectively achieved. Within this role she completed the first module of her Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher and Professional Education before joining the University in 2021 where she currently works as a lecturer within the clinical skills team. Whilst in this role she has recently completed her PGCert and is awaiting the results from The University of Bolton.
