University of Bolton, why we are the right choice
Location - Bolton, Greater Manchester
Chau is a Registered Adult Nurse. She also holds qualifications internationally including Registered Nurse (General) in Australia and Hong Kong, and Registered Midwife from Hong Kong.
She first qualified in 2011. She holds a Bachelor (Hons) Nursing degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she developed an interest in newborn care and midwifery. Pursuing her passion, she furthered her studies in a Post-registration Diploma in Midwifery.
Chau has gained clinical experience in both midwifery and neonatal care, and she has extensive experience in supporting postnatal women. She is also an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). Moreover, she has completed Master in International Public Health from the Queensland University in Australia.
Chau started her career in the Higher Education in 2017, where she has taught pre-registered nursing programmes at both Bachelor and Master degree levels. In 2023, she joined the University of Bolton and currently serves as a Lecturer for the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
