Cora Dunwell-Roberts

Senior Lecturer- Advanced Clinical Practice

Cora is a Registered Adult Nurse and qualified in 1998. She has a passion from Primary care and moved into General Practice in 2003 following the completion of the BSc (Hons) Community Specialist Practitioner- Practice Nursing. During her time within general practice she has completed the RCN Nurse Practitioner award, Non-Medical Prescribing and the MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice.

Cora has an interest in raising the profile of General Practice nursing and Advanced Practice within primary care. Looking at how we can support and educate our future primary care workforce.

Cora joined the University in 2023 as a Senior Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice and is the module lead for the Advanced Practice in Primary care Module. Currently teaching and supporting learners across the Advanced Practice Pathways including apprenticeship pathways

Research Interests and Research Subject Specialisms:
Interest in role of Advanced Practitioner within Primary care. Management of long-term conditions within Primary Care

Affiliations:
Currently works as Lead Nurse/ Advanced Clinical Practitioner for PCN with Wigan Locality of GM ICB.
