Hannah Marshall

Lecturer in Nursing

Hannah began lecturing with The University of Bolton in 2023, then took the role of Module Lead for the Enhancing Clinical Skills module on the BSc Adult Nursing Programme. She is passionate about continuing her own personal and professional development at the University, whilst delivering evidence-based knowledge and research.

Hannah qualified as an Adult Registered Nurse in 2010 and worked in the acute setting on the Cardio Thoracic Critical Care Unit. In 2011 she moved into the community setting and worked within the District Nursing Team. In 2015 she completed a PGDip in Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting) here at The University of Bolton, where she also obtained her V100 non-medical prescribing qualification.

During her time as a Health Visitor, Hannah developed a passion for Infant Feeding and in 2020 became a Specialist Infant Feeding Health Visitor and completed the necessary Baby Friendly Training in order to support, advise and educate both staff and families.
Throughout Hannah’s Nursing and Health Visiting career, she has always been passionate about education and student’s well-being.
