Jasneet Kaur, a dedicated and dynamic final-year student of Biomedical Engineering, serves as the University of Bolton's President of the Student Union.
In addition to this prestigious role, she is also the elected Vice President of the International Student Committee, showcasing her commitment to representing and supporting the diverse international student body. Overcoming initial challenges of shyness and language barriers,
Jasneet co-founded the Read and Lead Society, providing free graphic design and web development classes, which helped her build confidence and public speaking skills. Her involvement in the student engagement panel and sustainability panel and her dedication to academic excellence highlights her multifaceted contributions.
Recognised with the "She Inspires Me" award and videography winner of "Black History Month", Jasneet's journey from a reserved international student to a prominent campus leader exemplifies resilience, inclusivity, and the transformative power of student engagement.
