Steph Shipley is a part-time tutor on the BA Fine Art Research in Context module and on the Art and Design Foundation programme. Her research-driven practice responds to sites of heterotopia. It incorporates still and moving image and experimental printmaking.
A graduate of the University of Leeds in French, of the University of Bolton with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art in 2015 and of UCLan in Preston where she was awarded the ArtLab 2018 Contemporary Print Studios Fellowship and her MA in Fine Art Site & Archive Interventions in 2018, Steph is a studio-holder at neo: artists and with Castlefield Gallery New Art Spaces in Bolton. She has exhibited widely in the UK and also in Germany and Sweden.
