University of Bolton, why we are the right choice
Location - Bolton, Greater Manchester
The Peter Marsh Library is designed to help you learn by accessing services and resources in whatever way and at a time that suits you best. From 24/7 opening hours during semesters 1 and 2, extensive group and individual study facilities to comprehensive online resources.
The Library has a rapidly expanding digital library collection of over 195,000 eBooks and over a million journal articles, conference proceedings, newspaper articles and other academic publications. Together with a print collection of 100,000 items reflecting all of the subject areas studied at the University, Discover@Bolton provides a simple search facility to all of our resources.
We also have a very friendly and supportive team of staff who will help to navigate the array of resources and services. In 2002 the library was one of the first academic libraries to achieve the Customer Service Excellence(CSE) award, recognising the high level of support and services provided and the essential culture of continuous improvement. We continue to retain CSE with customers consistently awarding staff high marks on helpfulness, competence and overall library provision.
