Upon gaining extensive events management experience, Yusuf completed teacher training at the University of Bolton and specialised in teaching English to speakers of other languages from intermediate to pre-doctoral studies level. Yusuf has significant experience in operating societies to enhance student experience, including leading the University of Bolton International Society. Yusuf has also delivered hundreds of community education projects, geared around employability and life-long learning.
He has been leading successful Summer School projects since 2013, involving learners from China, Tunisia and Vietnam. These included leading teaching teams and designing innovative, engaging projects and schedules for the learners. Other recent duties include membership of the Senate and the Employee Forum.
