University of Bolton, why we are the right choice
Location - Bolton, Greater Manchester
The University of Bolton Education Department founded the Centre of Pedagogy to champion and promote the value of new educational research and to disseminate the findings and contributions of Educational researchers and practitioners.
The Centre of Pedagogy hosts a range of events, with talks, new research presentations and discussion underpinned by the University of Bolton’s Teaching Intensive, Research Informed (TIRI) approach to education.
Guest speakers include practitioners from primary, high school, further education (FE) and higher education (HE) sectors. They are experienced practitioners from education and present new research on perspectives of pedagogy, providing an academic forum for discussion.
The events include panel discussions which provide an opportunity for participants to engage with other co-presenters and the audience around any topics in/around education policy and practice.
Your engagement with the University of Bolton pedagogy events will provide additional evidence for continuing professional development (CPD) and for your application if you are seeking a category of Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
Please contact Jane Lovatt – j.lovatt@bolton.ac.uk or visit the Advance HE website for information.
