Anderton Centre through to final of Lancashire Business View Red Rose Awards

The Anderton Centre is celebrating after being named a finalist in the Lancashire Business View Red Rose Awards.

The outdoor activity centre, which is part of the University of Bolton Group, is nominated in the Tourism, Leisure, and Hospitality Award category, sponsored by Porsche Centre Bolton.

David Germain, Anderton Centre CEO, said: “Business Awards are a great way to raise the profile of the Anderton Centre.
“They also provide recognition for all the staff team’s efforts and hard work. We are super proud to be finalists in such a competitive category.”

The Centre is based at Lower Rivington Reservoir, Anderton, Chorley and offers high-quality and unique experiences for education establishments, community groups, and voluntary and commercial organisations.

It uses adventure and problem-solving activities to build confidence, increase self-esteem, develop teamwork and independence.

Lancashire Business View brings together the business community of the county, celebrates excellence and provides platforms to share success.

The Red Rose Awards celebrate the best of Lancashire business, commerce and industry. They provide the best possible platforms to promote success and encourage inter-trading in the county.

The final will be held on Thursday, 9 March at Winter Gardens, Blackpool.
