University of Bolton, why we are the right choice
Location - Bolton, Greater Manchester
18/06/2021
The University of Bolton has once again been named number one in Greater Manchester and the North West for student satisfaction in a top independent university guide.
The University was also named joint seventh in the UK for student satisfaction in the Complete University Guide 2022, which has just been published.
It scored a total of 84 per cent for student satisfaction.
The University also came first in the UK for Student Satisfaction in the following subjects: Accounting and Finance, Health Studies and Computer Science.
Professor George E Holmes DL, President and Vice Chancellor of the University of Bolton, said: “I am delighted that again the University has scored so highly for student satisfaction, especially after the challenges that the institution, its students and staff have faced during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I want to pay tribute to our staff who have done an amazing job. Throughout the pandemic, the University of Bolton has continued to focus on providing the best possible overall experience for our students; it is at the heart of everything the University does.
“Putting our students first has never been more important than it has been over the past unprecedented 16 months.
“It is clear that all the hard work the staff have done and continue to do behind the scenes to make our campus Covid-secure for students and staff has been appreciated.”
Professor Holmes added: “The University always wants to provide the best possible overall experience for students who quite rightly expect more than just to be learning online.
“Colleagues ensured that students could spend some time each week on campus, meet face-to-face with their friends in a safe and secure environment and could engage one-to-one in person with their tutors.”
